Printelligent Designs was founded in 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri, with a simple goal: make custom 3D printing and design approachable, useful, and fun.
Sometimes that means creating a replacement part to solve an everyday problem. Other times, it means turning an idea or rough sketch into a custom 3D model, creating a personalized gift, or printing a display piece that you simply think would be awesome to have.
Whatever brings you here, you don’t need to be a 3D printing expert or arrive with a finished design. Bring us your problem, your idea, or even your “I wonder if this is possible…” and we’ll help you figure out where to go from there.
From practical solutions to one-of-a-kind creations, Printelligent Designs is built around one simple belief:
If you can dream it, we can print it.
Founder. Designer. Problem-Solver.
TJ Wirkus is the founder and designer behind Printelligent Designs. With a background in technical writing, process management, and design, he brings a combination of creative thinking, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving to every project.
For TJ, a great custom project starts with understanding what someone actually wants and not just what needs to come off the printer. That means asking the right questions, communicating clearly throughout the process, and paying attention to the little details that can turn a good idea into something you’re genuinely excited to receive.
Whether he’s working through the details of a functional part, designing a meaningful keepsake, or creating something purely because it would be really cool to have, TJ approaches each project with the same care and curiosity.
His goal isn’t simply to print something and send it out the door. It’s to make the process easy, collaborative, and enjoyable—and to create something you’ll be proud to hold in your hands.
